Well, joining this street team won't really fix any of that, but it will gain you access to all the Automatic Loveletter news and information you could ever want. Also, the band will bake you cookies and bring them to you at shows! ....they probably won't do that, but I'm sure a hug or two can be arranged.

NOTE : Although we do prefer it, you do not have a myspace account to join the A.LL. street team. You can promote and base your street team on the site you choose (facebook, LJ, Twitter, .etc) To apply you can email us at: allstreetteams@myspace.com Make sure you include your name, age, town/city and contact details for when we add you to the street team list and so A.LL. can get ahold of you if needed. The 'contact detail' can be any of the following: facebook, twitter, myspace, LJ, bebo, virb, buzznet etc.

01. Add the official A.LL. Street team to your friends list.
02. Add A.LL. paraphernalia to your profile. I.E. banners, pictures, videos, your favourite A.LL. song, their name to your music list or Top Friend them.
03. Post bulletins on myspace or write a note on facebook with a banner that links back to the A.LL. myspace either saying how much you really love them, or post when they come to your town.
04. Shave A.LL into your hair.
05. Use the A.LL. MySpace Profile Layout(s) for your own myspace profile or create a special profile for your city and add your friends and locals to it.
06. Put up 1 or many posters/fliers around town promoting A.LL. Best places to do this are in; record stores, coffee shops, schools, bulletin boards, etc.
07. Tell at least 2 of your friends to add the band on myspace or befriend them on their other websites -- make sure they truly enjoy their sound.
08. If you don't own your own, steal your friend's iPod(s) and add A.LL. music onto their playlist. You can download songs from iTunes or order their EP from online and retail stores.
09. Make sure when A.LL. comes to your town to meet up with the band and let them know you are the ST Leader so they can shower you with their love... and sweat.
10. Tattoo A.LL. loves me in a visible place on your body.

11. Make 10,000 biodegradable A.LL. fliers, go to the top of the tallest building in your downtown area & toss the fliers off the top.
12. Start chanting "JU-LI-ET, JU-LI-ET" at concerts where Automatic Loveletter is NOT playing.
13. End every story you tell with "...and then I listened to Automatic Loveletter and my day got much better."
14. They let you use pens in school for a reason and those desks aren't gonna write "check out Automatic Loveletter" on their own.
15. As an inside joke, put in your AIM profile "I send my loveletters automatically"

17. Stand on a busy street corner with a sign that says "HONK IF YOU LOVE AUTOMATIC LOVELETTER"

I still don't know what to do to promote. Do you have any suggestions?
- You can start by telling your friends to check out the band and go from there. Word of mouth promotion is still a very viable source to get people to listen to A.LL.'s music and attend a show.
- If your street team is based on myspace then post in the music forums, on the A.LL. Street team and band profiles to inform people you have created a team for your area. Or alternatively, simply post about the brilliance that is Automatic Loveletter on your myspace blog and page.
- You can also search through myspace for people in your state/area/town and friend request them if you think they would actually check out the band and join your ST.
- Print out some flyers and ask record stores, coffee shops, or local music venues if you can leave some there for others to take. Or ask them if you can post a tour flyer in their store. Most places have bulletins boards (I.E. schools, UNI, laundry places) so you can post them up there too. Don't waste your flyers, choose where to post them or hand them out very carefully. Use commonsense.
- ALWAYS be aware of what you are promoting so you can answer people's questions about an upcoming A.LL. show. Also, make sure you know the exact release dates of any singles, EP's or albums that they are set to release.
